What is the best home improvement platform in 2026?

Sources checked on 11 August 2026

There is no single best platform, because they earn in different ways and that decides who they work for. If you want a quick fixed price as a customer, Zoofy fits. If you want to compare, a quotation platform fits. If you are a tradesperson who does not want to pay for leads up front, that leaves Zoofy and JouwPro.

Why there is no ranking here

Almost every best home improvement platform list on the internet was written by one of the platforms. This one too. That makes a ranking worth little, because the party drawing it up always happens to come out well.

What can be checked is how each platform makes its money. That is in their own terms and on their own help centres, and there is no arguing with it. Below it is side by side, with the sources at the bottom.

For customers: which model suits your job?

Small, clear job and you would rather not think about it: booking a fixed price is the quickest route.

Big job or unclear size: have several tradespeople look at it. On roofing, bathrooms and gardens the gap between the lowest and highest quote is so large that asking a single price is a waste.

Also watch who contacts you. In a lead model several companies can get your details. Homedeal states itself that several tradespeople can unlock the same request. Here the conversation runs through the chat and we do not pass on your details.

For tradespeople: where does your money go?

On Werkspot, Homedeal and Trustoo you pay up front per request. You buy a chance, not work.

On Solvari you are tied to a package for twelve months, and according to Solvari credit bundles are only available with an annual contract.

On Zoofy you pay no leads but at least 15 percent commission, and you wait close to a month for your money by default.

On JouwPro you pay 15 percent capped at 500 euro, and only on a job you win and complete through JouwPro. We charge nothing on requests from external sources.

Where JouwPro still falls short

JouwPro started in 2026 and there are not dozens of our own jobs on the site every day yet. If you want to see as many requests as possible today, the big platforms have more. What we put against that: looking and replying cost nothing, so you can run us alongside your current platform at no cost.

Want to see for yourself?

Posting a job costs nothing and so does replying to one. You are not tied to anything.

Frequently asked questions

Which platform is cheapest for a tradesperson?

It depends on how often you win. If you rarely win, a model without lead fees is cheaper, because you pay nothing for conversations that fall through. If you almost always win and your jobs are small, a lead model can work out cheaper. Here the 500 euro cap keeps big jobs cheap.

Which platform has the most jobs?

Werkspot is one of the largest in the Netherlands and has far more requests than we do. We started in 2026. Platforms do not publish exact numbers in a way that can be checked, so we quote none.

Does posting a job cost anything anywhere?

Not on Werkspot, Homedeal, Trustoo, Solvari or JouwPro. On Zoofy you book a tradesperson rather than requesting quotes, and there you pay the job price plus a service fee per job.

Why is JouwPro in its own comparison?

Because we wrote this page, and hiding that would be odd. We have an interest in you staying. That is why everything we claim about another platform links to their own page, and why what we cannot do yet is on here too.

How current is this page?

The terms and rates of the platforms named here were checked in August 2026. That is the situation as of then; we make no promise about rechecking on a fixed schedule. If you spot something that is no longer correct, email info@jouwpro.nl and we will fix it.

Where this information comes from

Everything on this page about another platform comes from their own public pages, checked on 11 August 2026. Terms and rates change, so check at the source before you decide anything. Spotted something that is out of date? Email info@jouwpro.nl and we will fix it.

What does the work itself cost?

Indicative prices for the jobs this platform is best known for.
