A platform without lead fees: which ones are there?

Sources checked on 11 August 2026

Lead fees are paid before you know whether any work will come of it. Werkspot, Homedeal and Trustoo work that way. Zoofy does not, it takes commission instead. Solvari uses an annual contract with credits. On JouwPro replying is free and the 15 percent service fee is only due after the job is completed.

What is a lead fee exactly?

A lead is the contact details of somebody with a job. In a lead model you buy those details, and only then does the conversation start. So you pay for the chance to write a quote.

The catch is in what happens next. If the customer does not reply, picks somebody else, or the job falls through, the lead fee has already been paid. Werkspot explains on its own help centre why you still pay in that case: the jobs you do win have to cover the rest.

How hard that hits depends on how often you win. No platform publishes that number, so neither do we.

So what does JouwPro cost?

15 percent of the agreed amount for the job, excluding VAT, capped at 500 euro per job. You only pay when you win and complete the job.

Worked example. Invoice 1,200 euro and 180 euro comes off. On 2,000 euro that is 300 euro. On 8,000 euro, 15 percent works out above the cap, so it stays at 500 euro. Big jobs get relatively cheaper here instead of more expensive.

We charge nothing on requests we surface from public sources. Those jobs do not run through us, so there is no fee attached, even if you win.

Where our word free runs out

We only earn when you earn. That sounds nice and it has a flip side: we have an interest in the job running through JouwPro rather than around it. That is the honest answer to where the catch is.

And as long as there are few jobs on the site, we earn close to nothing. What that means for you is below.

How a tradesperson pays, per platform

WerkspotPer lead, as soon as the customer shares their details. Their help centre says 3 to 96 euro.Werkspot help centre and terms

Where JouwPro still falls short

JouwPro started in 2026 and there are not dozens of our own jobs on the site every day yet. If you want to see as many requests as possible today, the big platforms have more. What we put against that: looking and replying cost nothing, so you can run us alongside your current platform at no cost.

Want to see for yourself?

Posting a job costs nothing and so does replying to one. You are not tied to anything.

Frequently asked questions

Is JouwPro really free for tradespeople?

Signing up, creating a profile and replying cost nothing. We only earn once you win and complete a job through JouwPro: 15 percent of the agreed amount excluding VAT, capped at 500 euro per job.

Which home improvement platform has no lead fees?

Zoofy and JouwPro do not charge lead fees. Under Zoofy's own terms the platform may withhold at least 15 percent commission on the invoiced amount. On JouwPro it is 15 percent capped at 500 euro, and only on a job that comes together through JouwPro.

What does a lead cost on Homedeal or Trustoo?

They do not publish it. Homedeal points you to your account or to email, and Trustoo writes that the price per request varies by trade and is only shown inside your own account. The figures you read elsewhere come from other parties and cannot be checked, so we do not repeat them.

Do I pay a service fee on jobs I find outside JouwPro?

No. We charge nothing on requests from external sources, even if you win the job. That job does not run through us.

Is there a notice period?

No. There is no subscription and no minimum spend, so there is nothing to cancel.
